I’ve beat the story mode. Fun gameplay, intriguing story!
It confused me at first as someone only familiar with Klondike variant. Not only the hidden rules, but the visible ones, too. But the game became so fun after getting customized with the visible rules.
Reading the story was enjoying. I have been unlocking all the endings to read them all.
I failed to understand most of the hidden ruled. I played by trial-and-error instead.
Picked this up after seeing katbamkapow stream it! So far I've played 2-3 sessions and "completed" 4 of the modes, but I'm excited/hopeful there's deeper to go!
Is the version on itch the same as the steam version and does the purchase come with a steam key? I'd rather buy here to support devs better, since steam takes 30% share. Also with the lack of a native linux build, having it on steam to play via proton would be better for me.
Hi there! The Steam and Itch versions are identical, yes.
Appreciate your want to support here - we'll gladly supply a Steam key with your purchase. Please email support[at]pantaloon[dot]io with your order number and we'll furnish you with the key.
If it helps anything, you can install Lutris from Flathub* and then add the .exe of this game to Lutris. You should be able to select a Wine version from there as well. If you want/need Proton versions, install ProtonUp from Flathub*; run ProtonUp, install a Proton version for Lutris, and THEN open Lutris and change the game's settings to use that Proton version. But yeah, it's still nice to have the recognition with a native Linux version 😞
* = On Steam Deck you need to go to the desktop mode first. From there you have KDE, like with any other Linux with KDE, you can run Discover which is its app store and install Lutris and/or ProtonUp from there.
I hope this helps, if not LMK and let's figure it out together!
The developer answered above: the Itch and Steam versions are identical and you can get a Steam key if you purchase here. Proton works well for now on Linux, but a native version would be amazing!

Hm… looks like the Itch.io upload now has Steam DRM, which of course then fails to launch because I have “no licenses” there.
I'm also running into this issue. Was looking forward to playing but can't even open the game.
This is fixed now - apologies for the issue here.
Thank you! works like a charm, now!
I just downloaded it from itch and I’m having the same issue. Are there anything I need to do to use the fix?
What a beautiful game I would love to get into, especially after my recurring love affair with Cultist Simulator.
You know… when you have the code to a thing, it isn’t that hard to compile it for linux and/or web…
Impressive presentation 👌 The unique take on solitaire with occult-inspired art is very creative. Excited to see how this grows

Oh that rabbit hole is deeper than you think. Thanks for picking up the game -- hope you continue to enjoy!

I'm not super far into it (just beat a couple rounds), but I am loving this game. Thanks for making it!
